On November 4th, at their regular meeting, the Winston City Council declared a vacancy for city councilor Ward II. Pursuant to the 2011 Winston Charter, the vacancy shall be filled within 60 days of declaration. The seat was formerly occupied by Alesha Anderson who will be moving out of the area. Former councilor Anderson’s term expires 12/31/2026.
